Youth Day – Celebrating Black History

Youth Day – Celebrating Black History

Sunday, February 18, 2018

True Faith Youth had a little something extra to offer today. We are in the midst of Black History Month so tribute was given to the African Americans who paved the way for us.

Little Brother Maxwell, who is five years old, gave a rendition of the famous “I Have A Dream” speech by Dr. Martin Luther King. He read the speech and put his heart into it.

Then they all came together and sang songs and danced. We are so godly proud and blessed to have some gifted young people in our midst.

Elder Dawson left the young people with an inspiring message using the topic Walking In Excellence.

Most of them are exceeding their age group in academics. True Faith is a good atmosphere that’s conducive for spiritual development for children and teens. Feel free to come worship with us. Our youth are in charge of the worship service every 3rd Sunday of the month.
