Pastor Evans Brown, Sr.
Spoke to us about faith as a continuation of the message on April 3, 2016. He focused on the word faith and told us that faith is what we are able to believe, it’s not what we can see, hear, feel, taste or smell. He told us we have to be able to trust God even though we can’t see Him or what He’s doing. He recalled True Faith moving the ministry from Morgan Drive to where we’re at. He recalled that took faith because we were settled on Morgan Drive. Now God is showing the reason He had the ministry to relocate.
Using 2 Peter 3:1-2, Pastor Brown warned us about being too quick to forget what we see in ourselves. He said to remember is to become powerful in the Lord. Pastor Brown told us to be mindful of what we’ve heard and he used Romans 10:14 to illustrate to us how God uses his messengers to cause us to remember.
We had a blessed time with praising and singing, but more important, we were blessed with the word of God. We would be blessed if you would join us next Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
