On March 29, 2015 the women of True Faith were in charge of the worship experience. We had a good time worshiping the Lord. It all started at Sunday School. Our subject was “The One Who Comes” with Mark 11:1-11 being our lesson text. Elect Lady Pearlie Brown taught the lesson and we got a clear understanding about the day Jesus came to Jerusalem in a triumphant entry. We learned what we can do to get ready for the day Jesus returns.
State District Missionary Burney was the messenger and she preached on the topic “How Bad Do You Want.” She compared our desire for Jesus to material desires and let everyone know our desires for Jesus ought to be more for Jesus.
We were visited by The King’s Men, and organization that Elder Evans Brown, Jr. is a part of. The King’s Men are a group of men who support and encourage each other in the Lord. They meet regularly and go out in the wilderness to meet with God. Their testimony includes how men have been saved and filled with the Holy Spirit on these wilderness tools. See more pictures here.
