Pastor Brown started his sermon by sharing his thoughts while he was driving the church van earlier that morning. Out of the those thoughts he told us he told the Lord; “Lord give me you.” There may have been confirmation of the message he gave us when Willena Anderson sang “Lord Give Me You” because Pastor Brown preached a stirring message.
He used Psalm 42 as his main text and challenged us by saying if Jesus isn’t living on the inside of us, we are not among the living. He asked us if we really wanted to hear the knowledge of the truth.
