DSC_0122Pastor Baggett and the New Elim Baptist Church Family came to worship with us on the first evening of our Oikos Conference. We had a good time in the Lord as we worshiped, heard words from the Lord and fellowship with one another.

Pastor Baggett, using the text from 2 Chronicles 7:14, ministered to us regarding getting the church back to what it used to and needs to be.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

He used his life as an example and shared with us how God changed him, saved him and prepared him for ministry. He told us that if everyone who is called by God would take the steps shown in the scriptures, there would be a revival that would sweep through Macon. He said our leaders cannot be afraid of offending someone when they preach what God has told them to preach. He told us sin shouldn’t be tolerated in the church.

Thank you Pastor J. Baggett and the New Elim Baptist Church for coming to share with us in the worship of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ.
