We were really blessed in our worship experience this morning. The praise and worship brought forth a spirit of adoration of our God and souls were touched, delivered and set free!
Pastor Brown preached a message about us making choices. He preached from Hebrews 11:25 and Deuteronomy 30:19. He let us know that even Moses had a choice, but he chose to suffer affliction with the people of God rather than enjoy pleasures for a season, temporarily. Then he showed us in the scriptures that God is calling on us to choose. Choose life or choose death, but God is urging all of us to choose life because He doesn’t want any of us to perish.
Pastor Brown let us know that God is striving with us and giving us a chance to make the right choices before it’s too late. He challenged our youth and let them know from 2 Chronicles 34:1 that Josiah was only 8 years old but he did what was right in the sight of God. Pastor Brown said that at their age, they are held accountable just like Josiah was. He urged them to make the right choices.
Then Pastor Brown closed by telling all of us that if we don’t include God in our plans that we shouldn’t expect success in what we do. We are thanking God for a leader who doesn’t compromise on the word of God when he preaches to us or in his examples of living a holy lifestyle in the sight of God.
