Dr. Pearlie Brown


The daughter of the late Elder Irving Jack and Evangelist Dorothy K Lawrence, the second child of nine, born in a little town called, Oconee, Ga. She attended Washington County schools and was the third honor graduate of her senior class. Other schools attended:  Graduated from Crandall Business College, Spellman College (CDA degree), 

She married  Dr. Evans D. Brown, Sr. Jan. 7, 1967. They have been blessed with four children,  including Zonesha (James) Lee. Pastor Evans Brown, Jr. (Meta), ZaShica (Tracie)Leggett, and Min. Elshelvian (Vontrice) Brown. There are ten grands and four great-grands.

Lady Brown is co-founder of True Faith Church of God In Christ, with founder, Dr. Supt. Evans D. Brown, Sr. for 56 years.
Jobs held:  Bibb County schools/ over 20 years. Georgia Power Company / Early Retirement. Director: True Faith Christian Learning Center

Entrepreneur: P&E Unique Shopp
Ga/Fla State Licensed Insurance Consultant/ Presently

Her anointed gift of singing and speaking has served to help build the ministry at True Faith and wherever the Lord has ordained her to be or to do. 

Music / Choir Directing  is her love. She Has served in the Southern Georgia Second Music department for over 40 years: singer, director, President, presently, vice-president. She served in the national music department under the direction of the late Dr. Mattie Moss Clark and on the national music board with a past president Dr.  Iris Stevenson.

She is engaged in many community activities and services with her husband, Dr. Evans Brown, Sr. She received a 50 + Community Music Award. She received an honorary Doctorate Degree / Saint Thomas Christian University, Jacksonville, Fla. 2020.

Dr. Pearlie Brown’s  passion is to please the all mighty God in everything that she does. Righteousness exalts a nation and sin is a reproach to any people. Prov. 13:34.
