The daughter of the late Elder Irving Jack and Evangelist Dorothy K Lawrence, the second child of nine, born in a little town called, Oconee, Ga. She married Dr. Evans D. Brown, Sr. Jan. 7, 1967. They have been blessed with four children, including Zonesha (James) Lee. Pastor Evans Brown, Jr. (Meta), ZaShica (Tracie)Leggett, and Min. Elshelvian (Vontrice) Brown. There are ten grands and four great-grands.
Lady Brown is co-founder of True Faith Church of God In Christ, with founder, Dr. Supt. Evans D. Brown, Sr. for 56 years.

Music / Choir Directing is her love. She Has served in the Southern Georgia Second Music department for over 40 years: singer, director, President, presently, vice-president. She served in the national music department under the direction of the late Dr. Mattie Moss Clark and on the national music board with a past president Dr. Iris Stevenson.
